Paste the button code into a website that allows custom JavaScript. For a direct redirect, download the HTML page and upload it to your own hosting.
Measure the outcome
Use different UTM content tags on each destination and measure conversions in your website analytics. The generated code does not collect click statistics.
Will I get an exact 50/50 split?
The generated code chooses randomly on each click or page visit. Equal weights give each destination an equal chance; actual totals approach the ratio over larger samples. Repeat visitors can reach a different page.
Can I use this in an email or social post?
The JavaScript button needs a website that allows scripts. For email, ads, or social, share the URL of the redirect page after hosting it, or create a hosted LinkSplit rotator.
What happens to incoming URL parameters?
Enable parameter forwarding to append the current page’s query string to the selected destination. Existing destination parameters and fragments are retained. Duplicate parameter names remain duplicated, so check how your destination handles them.
How do I change the destinations later?
Regenerate the code and replace it on your website. A hosted LinkSplit rotator lets you change destinations in your dashboard while keeping the same shared URL.
