Describe where it is shared
Source identifies the platform or publisher, such as linkedin or newsletter. Medium describes the channel, such as social, email, or cpc.
FREE TOOLS / UTM Builder
Add campaign tags to your destination URL so your analytics can tell you where visitors came from. Build it here, then share it anywhere.
Your URLs and settings stay in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to generate your result.
Fill in your destination and campaign details to preview the finished URL.
These tags identify your campaign in destination analytics. They do not install tracking on your website.
FROM INPUT TO ATTRIBUTION
Source identifies the platform or publisher, such as linkedin or newsletter. Medium describes the channel, such as social, email, or cpc.
Use one campaign name across related placements. Add content to distinguish creatives or buttons, and term when you need to identify a keyword.
Share the generated URL or use it as a short-link destination. Your destination analytics reads these tags; creating them here does not install analytics on your website.
This builder asks for source, medium, and campaign so each link has a useful campaign label. Content and term are optional. Use content to compare placements within the same campaign.
Non-UTM query parameters and the page fragment are preserved. For the five UTM fields shown here, existing values are replaced by your inputs; leaving an optional field blank removes its old value. Other UTM fields are left unchanged.
Keep naming consistent: analytics can treat different capitalization as different values. This builder preserves your spelling and safely encodes spaces and special characters. Lowercase names with underscores are a convenient convention.
LinkSplit reports link clicks and destination traffic. Use your destination analytics platform to review campaign attribution and conversions. UTM parameters label a visit; they do not measure a conversion by themselves.
